As German sociologist Robert Michele said, An oligarchy develops when a few individuals at the top of an organization acquire sufficient unchecked power and authority to make arbitrary decisions irrespective of the needs, wants, and concerns of the rest of the organization, its clients, and neighbors (Hansen, 2003, p.3).<br>All members of Micahs organization will need to take a part in some of the organizations responsibilities, realizing that responsibilities are not solely for the organizations executives and administrators. By appointing staff based on competence and specialized training, the organization can best benefit from its assets. By developing a specific set of rules structured around the goals of the organization, members of the organization are likely to place more emphasis on the ability of a member than the personality of a member.
