Preview: ... mple is his piece Convergence that was created in 1952. Pollocks action painting clearly depicts the theory of drip painting and uses chaos of mixed colors. I think Pollock called this painting an action painting because every gesture or move he made with this painting was extremely important for the outcome of this large painting. If you look at this painting, and really look, you can see different shapes throughout it. This is an absolutely amazing piece. I love the contemporary look, which it has even with all the bright colors. I see this as a spontaneous power piece. It is hard to not get drawn ...
