÷ Post your response to the following: In what ways are full-sentence outlines more beneficial than topic outlines? How would you answer this question, ÃÂWouldnÃÂt it be simpler just to write your paper than to create a full-sentence outline?àExplain your response. What steps will you take to turn your outline into the body of your rough draft?
I am posting two opposing viewpoints below and ask that you formulate a response for one of them by Friday in your individual forum.

I believe the purpose for health insurance is to assist people with financial benefits to help pay for medical treatment and prescriptions. The insurance helps the patient afford to live in healthy conditions at a cheaper rate versus paying out pocket. The price of health care is so expensive that people need some type of insurance to get proper care. I think there should not be any limits on health care financially. People who have cancer and serious injuries or illnesses should not be turned down because of limitations. I think some of the prices of technology should decrease because with the economy churning down prices should not increase. I feel it should not cost a 120 dollars for a doctor visit when a patient has a cold. I think the rates should given by the severity of the illness and based on the work the doctor actually does. A individual can go to a doctor to be treated and all the doctor does is write a prescription and charge the insurance company money and I just do not agree with that. I think that everyone should be given the choice to have health care at an affordable rate without putting people in a strain. I think that people should pay with they can afford and the insurance company should have policies designed for people based on their income. I think there should be several policies to choose from and allow the family to chose the one that meets their needs. I believe the insurance companies need to be more for families versus for their own revenue growth. I feel no one should have to choose to pay for medical care and sacrifice a bill I just feel that should not have to be an option.
ViewPoint 2
The purpose of health insurance is to protect individuals against medical conditions (illness and injuries) that are often unforeseeable and beyond anyoneÃÂs control. Health insurance, ideally, should also help or promote of foster a healthier society. For instance, to help limit medical costs, insurers should provide incentives (i.e., lower premiums) if enrollees avail of preventive medicine, this would make for a healthier society.
I believe we should have universal healthcare. Everybody has a stake in good individual health and in having a healthy society. But everyone should contribute when it comes to paying for this system.; Of course, there will always be free riders, people who try to get more out of the system than they pay in. However, health itself can be like the lottery; having bad health is very often bad luck or the result of accident or injury. Therefore, I think a just society will devote resources in a way that everyone is covered for the most essential medical services. I think the fairest way to pay for universal healthcare is to have a national sales tax.
Inevitably, we as a society will have to place limits on the amount of healthcare services that can be provided. For instance, I doubt our society can afford to spend 20% or more of our GDP on healthcare without shortchanging other areas, like education. Personally, I would spare no expense in trying to save the life of a young person, but treatments for older individuals might have to be scrutinized in terms of costs and benefits. For instance, I think society is better off spending a lot of money to save a 16 year old cancer patient than spending the same kind of money to perform an organ transplant on a ninety year old. I think tough decisions will have to be made based on age, sickness, the prospect of recovery, and the track record of particular procedures.
