Software Engineers will program the specific applications to carry out the functions the executives desire. The job of installing the network components falls to the Network Engineers. With the new Bead Bar information system in place, it is time to move into the next phase (Malaga, 2005).<br>Testing follows development. In this phase, the system development team will test the network, database, and software to ensure each fuctions properly. Test transactions will be performed and the results checked for accuracy. In this scenario, an employee may be added to the human resources database to ensure that employee’s information appears in all related databases. A test customer may be added to the marketing database along with a test purchase. Preset inventory levels will be checked against this transaction to ensure the system is working properly. System developers will even try to enter values for certain fields that do not match up to what the field requires. For example, the primary key “customer name” should not accept numeric values.
