·         Log on to your student Web site.

·         Review and navigate through the Center for Writing Excellence Web site at: https://ecampus.phoenix.edu/classroom/ic/cwe/home.aspx .

·         Click on the Library tab at the top of your page.

·         Select Center for Writing Excellence.

·         Navigate to the left side of the screen where Writing Resources is located.

·         Choose Tutorials and Guides.

·         Click on The Grammar Guide under Grammar Tutorials.

·         Select Writing Style under The Grammar Guide.

·         Complete the following skill-and drill quizzes from the Writing Style category. Ensure that you review the definition and rules for each topic.

 

o    Using Concise Language

o    Active and Passive Voice

o    Parallelism

o    Sentence Variety

o    Clarity

 

·         Post a screen shot of your results page in the Individual forum.

 

·         To take a screen shot, press the <Print Screen> or <Prt Scr> key on the upper right-hand corner of your keyboard.

·         Open a Microsoft^® Word document and then press <Ctrl> <V>.

·         Post the Word document as an attachment.

·         The subject line of each post must inform the facilitator which exercise screenshot you are posting (for example, Adjective and Adverbs).
