Q:I need a response to this answer. Agree or disagree and why.
Different organizations have different information the collect from clients and or vendors. But all the information is private and confidential, unless otherwise noted. Any breach to the security of an organization could be catastrophic. It could be personal information such as SSN’s, home addresses, all the information needed to become a victim of identity fraud. It could also be credit card info, forcing the client to go through the hassle of freezing all accounts, investigating them along with the companies just to prove they should not have to pay for things they did not purchase.
It is important for an organization to ensure proper security levels within its self, so that employees that do not need certain information don’t get it. Just having proper security levels would minimize the risk of getting breached. As long as an organization can maintain proper levels of security for their clients and vendors, the organization will continue to grow. Reporting a breach would make any organizations client want to take their business elsewhere.
There are plenty of tools available to help prevent security breaches, such as firewalls, anti-spam, anti-virus and so forth. Then on an organizational level, there are real time tracking, and monitoring software. To track and report unusual activity.
