Need a response to the following question.

It is interesting to note that most anyone can set up a wiki site for the purpose of sharing information. Personally, I have only seen the educational side of these sites when using Wikipedia. I teach at a number of high schools and the first thing that a student accesses when they don’t know the subject is Wikipedia. The reason is simple: it is extremely user friendly. Yes, the information is not always “perfect” but at least it gets the student pointed in the right direction. The issue I have in high school is that teachers do not provide a sufficient explanation of the pros and cons of a wiki site. Therefore the students feel confident that they can use this site for all of their researching. What would you do, if you  were in my position?
