Let A be the point (0,1) and let B be the point (5,3). Find the length of the shortest path that connects points A and B if the path must touch the x -axis. In other words, the path goes from point A to somewhere on the x -axis, and then to B. (This is the "line of sight" path from A to B if the x -axis is a mirror.)
