Q:

in a test of a catapult a boulder is fired over a wall, the distance from the catapult to the wall is 40 meters, the boulders reaches its maximun height of 15 meters as it passes directly above yhe wall(both the height and distance are measured from the point at which the boulder is released from the catapult)

(a) what is the velocity as the boulder passes over the wall

(b) calculate the vertical component of the boulders velocity at the point of release

(c) calculate the time taken for the boulder to reach its highest point

(d) find the horizontal component of the boulders initial velocity

(e) the catapult retreats to a distance of 50 meters when fired now the boulder just clears the top of the wall. calculate the height of the wall above the point of realease
