Or that, only 7.9% of all African-American adults in the U.S. over the age of 25 in 2005 held a two-year community college degree? (JBHE, 2006). Those are pretty shocking percentages compared to other races. I know I will never make anything of myself if I just sit at home and do nothing. Things have to change. I am currently taking online courses, so that I can still take care of my children.
