Q:monochromatic light from a laser is directed towards a diffraction grating which has 300 lines per milimetre.A diffraction pattern on a screen situated beyond the grating consists of a series of spots of light. The first order spot in the diffraction pattern is situated 2.00 metre from the centre of the grating, at an angle of 11.8 degrees. You may assume the speed of light is 3.00x10^8 ms-1.
calculate the wavelength of the light from laser.
