$3.00 Jennifer case study

Q:
can someone answer the question on 6 and 7 i have the other answer to this case study. i need this now.

Jennifer is a 29-year-old administrative assistant married to Antonio, an Italian engineer, whom Jennifer met four years earlier while on a business trip for her marketing company. The couple now lives in Nebraska, where Antonio works for the county's transportation department and Jennifer commutes an hour each way to her marketing office. They have been trying to start a family for over a year. Eight months ago, Jennifer miscarried in her second month of pregnancy. Antonio's parents love Jennifer and often ask her if she is expecting again, hoping to encourage her to focus on her next baby. Jennifer's mother passed away two years ago and her father's health is rapidly deteriorating. Jennifer faces the probability of placing her father in a skilled nursing care facility within the next few months, against his wishes.

At work, Jennifer runs a tight ship. She is organized and prepares lists to assure that everything is done according to schedule. Everyone counts on Jennifer and she takes pride in never letting people down.

Jennifer has visited her physician numerous times in the last six months, complaining of headaches, backaches, and indigestion. Jennifer insists that she is happy and is not feeling stressed, yet she finds herself making more mistakes at work, unable to keep up with housework, and feeling tired and overwhelmed; she has begun to question her effectiveness as an employee, wife, daughter, and potential mother. Her pains seem to be increasing, but her doctor cannot find a physical cause for her discomfort

6. In what stage of development is Jennifer and what factors about this stage might be impacting her perspective of this situation?
7. What relationship factors or considerations might be influencing JenniferÂ’s problems?

Preview: ... et. Jennifer’s mother’s passing and now her father’s deteriorating health is probably weighing on her mind a lot. The fear that her father might pass, trying to take care of him as best she can, those things can add to the stress that Jennifer is feeling.
Jennifer is feeling both emotional and cognitive effects from the stress in her life. She is feeling down, questioning her effectiveness as an employee, wife, daughter, and potential mother. Some of the cognitive effects that she is experiencing are that she is making mistakes are work and unable to keep up on her housework. Jennifer is probably also dealing with a lot of pressure and stress at work, everyone looks to her to lead, she prepares lists and makes sure everything is done according to schedule. Jennifer also takes pride in the fact that she never lets people down, which would be stressful. She is most likely making mistakes due to her inability to focus or she is having difficulty thinking clearly about the tasks at hand. She may also be experiencing some memory loss or a feeling of drawing a blank that may be impairing her problem solving abilities.
Jennifer is reporting a feeling of being tired and overwhelmed, she has probably entered the exhaustion stage of the general adaptation syndrome, meaning that her body from the stress has left her muscles fatigued and her resources for fighting stress are probably nearly depleted. Her body due to the stress is being left vulnerable to stress-related illness and just illnesses in general. Her immune system has probably been weakened by the stress making her harder for her to stay healthy, conceive or even maintain a pregnancy. The headaches, back pains, indigestion, and even the miscarriage can all be attributed to the stress that she is under in her daily life.
2. How are these stressors impacting Michael’s or Jennifer’s self-concept and self-esteem? Self-concept is a person’s impression or concept of who they are or how they see them self, where self-esteem is how they feel about them self. While self-concept makes up the traits or qualities a person ascribes to themselves such as competence and sociability; self-concept also has a major impact on a person’s self-esteem and how they feel about themselves. In Jennifer’s case she has begun to question her effectiveness as an employee, wife, daughter, and potential mother, she is basically questioning her self. Due to the mistakes she’s been making at work and the falling behind in house work Jennifer feels inadequate. Jennifer’s self-esteem is suffering severely, where before she was the leader that everyone came to at work, she is now the person making mistakes and possibly needing more and more help. A person’s self-esteem is also affected by factors such as social approval and competence. If a person has bad view of themselves they may directly have low self-esteem. Jennifer’s self-concept used to include the fact that everyone looked to her for the answers and she prided herself on never letting people down. With falling behind in her housework and making mistakes at her job, it is possible that Jennifer is starting to feel like a failure that can’t do anything right. Since Jennifer’s self-concept is affected by social approval, in this case people looking to her to lead, and since her competence is lacking, due to her making mistakes, Jenni ...

Preview: ... ilities, Jennifer has switched to being the one that takes care of these things and people.
More specifically to Jennifer’s case she has probably entered the age-30 transition, the period of time which roughly spans age 28 through 33. This stage of life is commonly characterized by reassessment, “Where is my life going?” “Why am I doing this?” In this stage people may find that they wish to basically strike out a new road in life different from the one they may have founded in their twenties. In this stage childless couples may feel a push for having children and married couples may feel discontent. As in Jennifer’s case she is feeling a great push to have children, she is receiving pressure from her in-laws about it, and may possibly have some tension with her husband about the issue. Jennifer is wishing to start a new stage of life by becoming a mother and thus is questioning herself and where her life is going due to the fact that she has been unable to get pregnant.
The ‘why am ...
