Read the Team Lead Job Postings file located on the student Web site for Week Two and review the corresponding organizations on the Virtual Organizations site. The Intranet sites for each Virtual Organization are available on its corresponding tabs: Riordan Manufacturing in businesses; Kelsey Schools in schools; and Patton-Fuller Community Hospital in health care. Select a job posting for which you intend to apply.Prepare a 3 to 5 slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation to serve as your first-round interview for the team lead position you have chosen. For Local Campus students, this is a 3- to 5-minute oral presentation accompanied by a PowerPoint® presentation; for online and directed study students, this is a slide presentation with notes.Include the following elements in your presentation:
-Differentiate between tasks and maintenance behaviors in effective teams and explain how this knowledge may benefit the Virtual Organization to which you are applying. Describe how you plan to handle these tasks and maintenance behaviors as a team lead. Offer specific examples.
-Explain how leadership affects team processes and describe how your understanding of leadership concepts might benefit the Virtual Organization to which you are applying. Describe the leadership approach you plan to bring to the team lead position and offer specific examples.
-Explain how trust-building and teambuilding practices are used in team environments and describe how this knowledge might benefit the Virtual Organization to which you are applying. Provide specific examples of teambuilding and trust-building practices you intend to use as team lead.
Refer to Ch. 3,4,5,8 and 13 of Small Group and Team Communication,the University Library,and the Virtual Organizations in creating this presentation.
Include an introduction,conclusion,and reference slide.
