Q:
Discuss the use of discretion in police work. Include the mythical aspects, consider its sources, and suggest how it might be controlled. From this analysis, create a list of 10 police actions during which an officer might use discretion and why? Determine whether the use in each action is reasonable or an abuse of power. Paper should be 1400-1500 words.

Can someone please help me understand this a bit better?
