Rewrite and correct the following fused sentences
1. It all began one cold night in December my friends and I thought we would walk around the neighborhood with out pellet guns.
2. Nobody was out they were all inside their houses watching The Simpsons on TV.
3. We felt like gunslingers coming into town we kept joking about the scared town folk.
4. Unfortunately, we didn’t have many pellets I thought I’d brought more but hadn’t.
5. We kept pumping up the guns and shooting empty the shots made a sharp clapping sound in the cold air.
6. A pot-bellied man came out on his porch yelled for us to stop we pointed our guns in his direction he went away.
7. Then I got an idea I put a pebble in my gun and saw a cat under a car.
8. I got down on the cold, gritty pavement and set my sights on the cat I pul led the trigger.
9. The pebble jammed inside the barrel the gun was broken!
10. My buddies had a great laugh about my broken gun the cat slinked quietly off.
