About LVAgrad24: I would like to introduce myself as Brian Andrew Ruedas and I was born on July 18th 1984 in the city of San Bernardino, California. Being an eighteen year resident of the sinful, yet glamorous city of Las Vegas, Nevada, I am proud to be the member of the Ruedas family. Living under the careful guidance of my mom and day, I also have 2 siblings, my seventeen year old brother, who is in his last year of high school and my twenty one year brother that attends the state university.

My father, a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force, gave our family the benefits of traveling many places in the world. My family spent the next 5 years of my life oversees in Upper Heyford Air Force Base in England. This is where I started my educational career in kindergarten to second grade. His last assignment shipped us to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, where
my dad would eventually retire in 1997 and I would finish my elementary, middle school and high years.
Following my 2002 high school graduation, I decided to attended the local, public two year college, known here as the College of Southern Nevada, with no plans or intent to pursue a degree of some sort . It wasn’t until the sixth consecutive year while attending the college, during the midterm exams, that it dawned on me to venture into the computer field and make a career out of it. I did some research online to find a school that best suited my needs, and in the process I stumbled upon the University of Phoenix and the many degree options to choose from. Satisfied with what the school had to offer, I enrolled on the same day and made a full time commitment to finishing my college education.

I am now a full-time student enrolled in the Associates degree program in computer networking and will work towards my final goal of obtaining a Bachelors degree in the same area of study. I plan to make use of my degree to work in an IT department as a network administrator.

My ultimate goal, by attending the University of Phoenix, is to attain business and professional skills and incorporate them into the work experience I already have, so that I may one day find a job of my dreams.
