About italy71: My name is ITALY71. I was born in Italy in 1971. My sister, Mariassunta, who is twenty nine years old, and I had really good and quiet childhood. My parents, Mario and Antonietta, both fifty nine years old, did a great job to provide us everything we needed. I obtained my high school diploma in accounting in 1990. I also completed 2 of the 4 years in a business administration program. In 1997, I had to serve my country for 12 months, as military service was mandatory at that time. After I fulfilled my duty, in 1998, I joined the Carabinieri force (military police). I worked with them for about 7 years and resigned from them in 2002 when I moved to California. That same year, I married, Maria. My wife and I met in Rome, in 2001, while she was on vacation with her family. We have 3 year old girl, named Giovanna. Language (my wife did not speak Italian) and job opportunities were the two factors that brought us to live in the United States. Although I struggled to fit into American culture I knew that I could adjust to my wifeÂ’s society better and faster than vice versa. Currently, I work for a real estate company; I am a regional property supervisor. I decided to enroll at University of Phoenix because in Italy I never had the time to complete my education. My educational goal is to obtain a PhD in business administration.

I completed my AA in accounting with University of Phoenix a few months ago (GPA 3.98). I am currently working on my BA in accounting (GPA 3.97). My career goal is to become a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a Fortune 500 company.
